Therapeutic Yoga Workshops for Strength, Flexibility, Healing with Lucy Lomax
These therapeutic yoga workshops will address the bones, joints, muscles, and fascia/connective tissue, and are designed to help attendees develop alignment and movement patterns to promote health and healing in the body. Handouts provided. NOTE: As body awareness is required to affect positive change in yoga therapy, attendees should have at least 30 hours of study with a qualified yoga teacher.

Yoga & Ayurveda Immersion 101 with Sue Schmitt AYS and Chris Lean AYS
Yoga is first and foremost the science of self realization. Ayurveda is the primary science of self-healing. The interface between self-healing and self-realization is the union between Yoga and Ayurveda. These sister sciences provide the roadmap to better physical health and deeper spiritual development.
In this series of workshops we will explore theories and practices to deepen your understanding of how body and and spirit work together to create a truly happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. Each workshop will include Yoga and Ayurvedic practices. By the end of the year, you will have a solid understanding of how yoga and ayurveda work together, how they can enhance your health, and how to incorporate the many practices into your daily life.

February 10 ~ Dance of the Dosha's 1-4 pm awesome time for everyone!
Understanding the dosha's means understanding yourself. Knowledge of your main dosha type can give you vital clues on what to eat and how to live to stay healthy and happy. Be ready to take the dosha quiz. We will also cover the elements, the seasons, and the ayurvedic clock.
June 2 ~ The Vital Essences and the Gunas 1-4 pm
The vital essences of prana, tejas, and ojas are the beneficial forms of the dosha's that promote health, creativity and well-being. The three gunas sattva (essence), rajas (activity), and tamas (inertia), are qualities or forces of nature that are present in everything and everyone. Explore ways to increase your vital essences and regulate the gunas through yoga and ayruvedic pratices.
September 8 ~ Agni and the Power of Transformation 1-4 pm
Agni is your digestive fire. The ability to digest food and emotions has a profound affect on the health of your body and mind. We will include digestive herbs, foods, and practice suggestions to build your Agni.
November 3 ~ Pulling it all Together thru Deeper Practices 1-4 pm
True transformation comes when you take the time to add deeper practices such as pranayama, pratyahara, mantra, and meditation to your life. In this workshop we will explore these practices.
